Fort Worth, TX Financial Advisors for Aerospace Professionals and Retirees

This is our home office, not a satellite address, and we're a fee-only fiduciary firm rather than a commissioned sales floor, which is the difference between an advisor you can sit across from and a pitch you have to evaluate.

Hector Hinojosa, CFP®

Founder, Certified Financial Planner™

Josh Hinojosa

Investment Advisor Representative (IAR)

Your Goals, Within Reach.

The Firm Headquartered Here, Not Visiting

Our office is at 4500 Mercantile Plaza Drive in Fort Worth. Josh Hinojosa is a Fort Worth native. When you call, you reach Hector or Josh.

That local footing shapes who we serve well. Fort Worth's aerospace and defense sector employs more than 23,500 people across the six-county region at an average wage above $100,000, spread over 600-plus companies, and Hector has spent years working with aerospace professionals specifically. That work has a particular shape to it: pension elections with irreversible deadlines, a thrift savings or 401(k) balance that dwarfs everything else, security clearances that complicate outside business interests, and retirement eligibility that often arrives earlier than most planning assumes.

The other half of our Fort Worth practice is retirees and pre-retirees already here, who need income sequencing, Social Security timing, and Medicare handled as one decision rather than three. Both groups get the same wealth management process, and both see every cost on our fees and pricing page before anything begins.

Aerospace and defense compensation, including pension elections and early retirement eligibility, is familiar ground here.

A Father-and-Son Practice, Deliberately Small

The people, not the brand

Hector founded the practice and has advised families since 1995. Josh joined him as an Investment Advisor Representative, holds a Series 65 and Texas life and health insurance licenses, and earned degrees in finance and business management from Texas Wesleyan University. He also leads worship for a youth group of roughly 300 kids at a church here, which tells you as much about how he works as any credential does.

We keep the practice small on purpose. It's the only way two people can know a household's situation well enough to catch the thing that isn't in the file. If you've had the experience of explaining your circumstances to a new advisor every eighteen months, that's what this structure exists to prevent.

Where taxes turn out to be the biggest lever on a Fort Worth retirement, we run Power of Zero repositioning, and you can start a conversation any time through our contact page.

What Fort Worth Clients Want to Know

  • Where is your Fort Worth office and can I come in?

We're at 4500 Mercantile Plaza Drive, Unit 300, Fort Worth, TX 76137, and yes. This is our headquarters rather than a branch, and Hector and Josh both work out of it. Meetings can also be by video if that's easier.

  • How do I find a fee-only financial advisor near me in Fort Worth?

Ask whether the advisor is a fiduciary at all times and whether they can be compensated by anyone other than you, then ask for both answers in writing. Fee-only means client-paid and nothing else. Our three fee options are published rather than quoted on request.

  • I work in aerospace and have a pension decision coming. Can you help?

That's a large share of what we do. Pension elections are usually irreversible, and the right answer depends on your spouse's situation, your other assets, your health, and what the survivor option costs relative to what it protects. We model the options before the deadline rather than after it.

  • What should I look for in a financial advisor for retirement in Fort Worth?

Someone who builds a written retirement income plan before recommending investments, who can explain how they're paid in one sentence, and who holds a credential that required real coursework and an ethics obligation. Also someone who will tell you when the answer is to do nothing.

  • I'm already retired. Is it too late to get value from this?

No, and retirees often have more accessible levers than they expect, particularly around withdrawal sequencing, Social Security coordination, and the years before required distributions begin at 73. The changes tend to be less dramatic and the tax savings are frequently larger.
